Funding

It’s costly to run a research institution without charging high tuition rates and/or admitting many students. It’s even more costly when the experience includes the many things that happen in Vitality. Utilities, maintenance, equipment, reagents, travel costs, competition costs, etc. all add up. Our lab is worth around $150,000 and has an operating budget of around $1,000 monthly. About 1/4 of that budget is covered by member dues, and much of the rest will need to be by support of grants and donations to keep us operating.
